Episode 2:
"Dial 'P' for Pussycat"
The date? 1975. The place? New York City.
In the 1970’s, New York City was a broken, ungovernable metropolis barreling into anarchy. New Yorkers remember this decade as the bleakest, most crime-ridden, and most uncertain time the city has ever faced. It was a time of economic, criminal, and cultural shifts.
Infamous underground club owner, Howie Trappmann, has invited you to his exclusive pre-opening opening party for his new club, Black Catz Pajamaz. Every pre-opening opening party that Howie hosts has been groovy thus far, but there’s a reason why this one hasn’t turned up as many guests as usual.
While radio stations and news channels refuse to report it, the talk of the town is that several local prostitutes have been turning up dead left and right. Howie’s nightclubs are notorious for their under-the-table hookers, and the fact that he’s still turning enough profit to open a new joint is more than a little suspicious.
Maybe it’s the fact that you never turn down a party invitation, maybe it’s sheer curiosity of what could go down, or maybe it’s the Donna Summer vinyl playing on your record player right now – but something tells you to RSVP ASAP.
This disco is about to reveal some untrustworthy characters, shady pasts, and greedy motives.
Slap on your go-go boots and cross your fingers that your destiny is not ill-fated. You’ve received your invitation, now this is where your story begins.

Episode 3:
"Crescents & Culprits"
1920, New Orleans French Quarter.
From the city’s earliest days, NOLA had close ties to the money centers of New York, Boston, Phili, London, Paris. English bankers began living in NOLA since the early 1800s. Before the Civil War, NOLA was the wealthiest city in America. In the 1920s, it remained – by far – the wealthiest city in the South. Its banks were the largest and most important in the world.
The Crescent City at this time did have its effete, proper European and educated society, but was mostly gritty, working-class slum. Pirates, privateers, whores, former slaves, Mississippi River card sharks, dirty politicians, and enterprising young ladies ply their trade among the burgeoning Jazz scene.
New Orleans has its French and Haitian roots, swirling together a culture of romance, voodoo, and magic - but a new culture was just emerging within the city.
The Black Hand, an extension of the Sicilian Mafia, runs the ports and commerce of NOLA. The Black Hand is relentless, extorting legitimate businesses and crooked politicians alike. The arrival of a Black Hand Letter was a summons to PAY OR DIE.
Many discovered the full intent of these letters the hard way.
The French Quarter in the 1920s was very bohemian, attracting many artists and writers. It is here that you’ve formally been invited to the gallery opening for local artist Arman(i) Broussard – however, you’re likely in for more than just perusing paintings this evening.
Prepare yourselves for a lovely night of art appreciation, conversation, and murder.
